THE FOUNDER Nick Carr is a filmmaker, actor, and AI storyteller building for a new hybrid era of filmmaking.

 

THE FOUNDATION Nick cut his teeth in the trenches of major motion picture production, starting in the art department on films like Jack Reacher (working under legendary production designer Jim Bissell), Promised Land, and Foxcatcher. This rigorous, high-stakes education in visual storytelling laid the groundwork for his transition to New York, where he contributed to award-winning series including The Affair, Master of None, and The Deuce, balancing roles both behind and in front of the camera.

 

​THE CREATOR Frustrated by the "wait for permission" culture of the industry, Nick pivoted to independent IP development. He co-created and wrote a full 10-episode season of Mannies, an adult comedy. Without an agent, he and his writing partner, Dylan S. Wallach, successfully pitched the project to major industry players, including Rough House Pictures—proving that a strong voice and a relentless work ethic can open doors that are supposed to be locked.

THE MISSION Today, Nick Carr Studio is the synthesis of those worlds. By combining two decades of human performance and narrative craft with cutting-edge Generative AI pipelines, Nick offers clients a "Swiss Army Knife" production partner.
